My father took Lipitor, Crestor and Simvastatin. Is he eligible for the Tricor settlement?

Question:

I know the lawsuit involves Fenofibrate users and what my father took is a "statin". They are related, since they are for the same thing.

Answer:

If your father was injured from any of those drugs he'd probably be eligible for a new lawsuit regardless of whether or not he's eligible for the Tricor settlement. I've filed a case a past through http://www.badproducts.com because the form was free and they helped find people in a similar situation as me. Maybe they can help you too, good luck!

CHOLESTEROL & STATINS?

Question:

i HAVE BEEN TAKING LIPITOR FOR YEARS . THEN i STARTED TO DEVELOP LEG CRAMPS. THEN I SWITCHED TO ZOCOR & THE CRAMPS ARE BACK. i TOOK MYSELF OFF ZOCOR 3 DAYS AGO & i HAVE CONSIDERABLE IMPROVEMENT. iS THERE ANY THING ELSE i CAN TAKE?

Answer:

Well rather than coming off them completely, a dose adjustment may have helped. 10mg of Lipitor is usually more tolerable. What dose were you taking before and more importantly what is your cholesterol level at the moment?

See your GP and discuss the problems you are having with him. Do you have any other health conditions and what other medications do you take? Some drugs can make mucle effects worse. Source(s): Cardiac Nurse
